Diving Into Blue

"Help! We're a bunch of Texans who don't know how to sail!"
"Yep! Sailing and drinking don't mix!"
"Can you give us a tow?"

Yesterday, as we headed to our last dive site, we passed some stranded Texans in a catamaran.

1. They didn't pay enough attention to the sailing lesson they received just before leaving the beach.
2. They had been drinking.
3. They didn't have the sail correctly positioned to get any wind in the sail.
4. At least they asked for help as our boat.

What lessons did they learn?

1. Don't drink and sail.
2. Listen carefully to your instructions on how to use a catamaran.
3. At least they were wearing hats to shield themselves from the sun!
