Yes, I think so. It's a mystery.

Bruce and I noticed these the other day. It's a mound of soft white sand with an air hole at the hightest point. Then, nearby, there's an "excavation site" where the mound of sand came from.

There are lots of little fish that live in the sand but you typically see them swimming in and out of the hole. These, however, don't seem to have any fish living in them. Or, at least, not any we've seen.

So, we've classified these as a mystery.
