Diving Into Blue

Pingo is holding a juvenile Smooth Trunkfish. These guys start out this small and grow into a fish about one foot long! Pingo has such great eyes--he's able to see such little fish in the vast sea!

I have no idea what the heck this is! Again, Pingo found this one in the sand. And you can see how little it is compared to his hand!











This guy is a total mystery! Greg and I have seen something like this before but we're not sure what it is. He was in a small hole in some coral; he's just a bit smaller round than the end of your pinkie finger. I got close and then zoomed in a lot to get this picture. He could be a very young eel or maybe just a young blenny.
